Printer isn’t detecting the fanfold stock being used or is showing that it doesn’t match the size settings

  • You may need to ensure you have the correct size settings in the printer driver.
    • To do so, click on the Windows start button. Navigate to settings, then Bluetooth & Devices, then Printers & Scanners.
    • Select the appropriate EPSON CW-C4000u printer that shows it is ready.
    • Navigate to Printing Preferences within the printer driver.
    • Under the general tab, select the appropriate Media Name in the drop down (see the Quick Start Guide for instructions on how to create a Media Name that corresponds to a given size of fanfold stock).
  • Once the correct size settings are in place, you will need to calibrate the printer.
    • To do so, on the printer itself, select the Menu and press OK.
    • Next, select Maintenance and press OK.
    • Next, select Calibration and press OK.
    • Finally, select Simple Media Detect and press OK.
    • Once the calibration is complete, you should be able to print normally.

Getting a paper jam error when using fanfold stock

  • Completely open up the front and back covers of the printer and remove any name tags that may be stuck.
  • Once the name tag stock has been reseated, close both covers and try restarting the print job.
